How does the drawing actually show up?
The pen has no ink — the tip is a UV light. The plush has a glow-in-the-dark panel, and wherever the light passes, that spot charges and glows. It works best in a dark room, and it's brightest right after you draw.
Does the drawing stay on forever?
No, and that's the point. The glow fades on its own and the panel goes blank, ready for the next drawing. Nothing soaks into the fabric, so there's no limit on how many times they start over.
Does the pen need batteries?
The pen runs on 2 AAA batteries and comes with a step-by-step installation guide. It's a one-minute adult job: twist off the star cap, drop the batteries in, line up the triangle marks and twist to lock.
Can she sleep with it?
Yes — it's a plush first. No screen, no sound, no cord. The pen tucks into the star-print pocket on the belly so it stays with the toy instead of ending up under the bed.
How do I clean it?
Take the pen out of the pocket, then spot clean the plush with a damp cloth and let it air dry.
